Perilous World Radio 07/18/22

Alan and Jan Masters lead the radio show discussing PTS (Post Traumatic Stress). What kind of escape mechanism have you constructed inside yourself to escape from realities of your PTS, pain, that you have from your childhood? Alan says that we all have different means of escaping our trauma; from drugs to craving the adrenaline from driving fast, or even burying yourself in work.

It’s Patriot Outreach Monday, and Tony Monaco says that when you get that adrenaline thrill you’re saying “I am God”, I dared fate and challenged the world.”

Col. Monaco, introduces Master Sergeant Franco Webb, US Army, who discusses Post Traumatic Stress with combat veterans and firefighters, and also addresses Paratroopers Returning Home from Poland - caused by Russia/Ukraine Conflict.

Jan asks us, “Who are we wearing?” We all have some post traumatic stress that we hold onto year after year like an identity cloak. A traumatic experience or cruel words can live deep within us to where we start to take on that identity that was put upon us, like clothing. Jan explains, “we must ‘Be Still and Know’ so we can allow the dirty clothing of the world to dissipate in the light allowing us to embrace our true identity and be who God intended you to be.“

This Wednesday, we bring on Southern Oregon resident, Nick Yaris, who was on death row for a murder he didn’t commit spending 21 years in solitary confinement.  Nick was finally exonerated after 25 years and shares what he’s learned. Check out his book, “7 Days to Live”. You don’t want to miss his incredible story on Wednesday’s show!
