Meet Your Hosts
Alan Masters
President, CEO & Chairman of the Board,
Alan Masters is the 4th child of Roy & Ann Masters. Since being asked by his father in 2017 to help run the Foundation of Human Understanding, Alan has been transitioning from his successful career as a multimedia professional into the call of his life; serving his Heavenly Father while stewarding the legacy and teachings of his earthly father. In June of 2020 Alan began co-hosting his father’s radio program, re-named Perilous World Radio, with his brother David. Alan shares with the listeners his own personal journey & spiritual insights with transparency and humor. In the Spring of 2021, Alan lost both his mother and his father. With a rekindled appreciation for his father’s wisdom and life’s work, Alan feels it an honor and a privilege to preserve his father’s legacy and teachings while also sharing the simple truths that God is putting into his own heart.
David Masters
Counselor, Co-host of Perilous World Radio and Author.
A familiar voice to long-time listeners, David Masters is the eldest son of Roy Masters. At the age of 17 a near fatal surfing accident served as a wake-up call and caused David to question the direction in which his life was heading. In his search for understanding, he began meditating with the stillness exercise taught by his father and also began working alongside his dad at the Foundation of Human Understanding. Over the years, David was a frequent co-host with his father on his radio program and would also stand-in as needed, developing his own counseling skills with callers, combining Judeo-Christian principles and his understanding of modern psychology theories. David has also produced many top-named radio shows and has authored several books.
