The Enemy "Within"


In the ongoing struggle against the current system, many individuals find themselves grappling with internal conflicts that stem from self-sabotage. This ancient system often undermines our capacity to act as moral beings, exposing us to countless mechanisms that work against our integrity and well-being. A poignant observation arises: we tend to become our own worst enemies, despite facing real challenges in life. This self-sabotage often begins with a moment of doubt, where we question our values or instincts. For example, an encounter where one finds money and considers keeping it, despite knowing it may belong to someone else, illustrates how easily we can compromise our morals. This momentary lapse can create a cascading effect, leading to further questionable decisions. The ego plays a significant role in this dynamic. In a metaphorical sense, it can feel as if an external force is controlling our actions, making us act against our better judgment. Yet, there is hope for correction. The instant we recognize a mistake, we have the opportunity to realign ourselves and make amends, perhaps even returning to rectify an error like receiving incorrect change. Failure to take this path of course correction, however, can lead to an exponential decline in our moral standing. Denial and rationalizing our choices only deepen the cycle of wrongdoing. By acknowledging our missteps and choosing to act with integrity, we reclaim our agency and foster a more harmonious existence. justifications it can be applied at any given moment of compromise thousands yes that's it
