Perilous World Radio 06/23/22

David Masters and Mike Jones start off the show talking about the Supreme Court just recognizing the right for people to bear arms without obtaining a permit.  In New York, the court holds that “proper cause requirement to obtain a concealed carry license violates the constitution. It prevents the law abiding self-defense needs from exercising the 2nd amendment right to keep and bear arms in public for self-defense.” David says, “If the criminals are armed, we should be twice as armed.”

Mike says that “one may extrapolate from this that we now have Constitutional Carry, which does not require a permit to strap on a gun.” He says Clarence Thomas got it right when he said, “the Second Amendment is not a second-class right.” Mike adds that it doesn’t need any extra criteria for you to exercise it. 

How does this connect to the Bible? David explains that whenever evil gets involved in trying to destroy God’s people, the Human race, there’s a balance, such as the equation, “for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.” David says this is important because he doesn’t think most Christians understand how much power they have individually in their relationship with God. David continues to explain that it is written that during Christ’s resurrection, there were many people who rose from their graves. In fact there was a reported “sudden increase in the world’s population” during that time. 

This is related to the Supreme Court's ruling on the right to keep and bear arms because David feels that “God is beginning to act though the people who have the ability to make a difference in our lives. This is the reaction to the insanity that has been unleashed on this country”.
