Hour 1 - Alan and David talk about their father’s book Hypnotic States of Americans and how we all need to read this book because a good sized group of people in our country are hypnotized by the media. They talk about Seattle and the various responses that are happening due to the take over of part of downtown. They play clips from a documentary about the original summer of love and compare and contrast them to what people in Seattle are doing. 

Hour 2 - Alan believes that the majority of our problems come from fathers not properly raising their children and then they grow up into bad adults. They play clips from shows from the past that show where today’s racism came from and possible ways to stop it from continuing on. Alan and David talk about how we all need to get rid of our preconceptions about people based on how they look or where they are from.
