Stress Management Techniques
At the Foundation of Human Understanding, we teach you how to deal with stress and trauma through a simple meditation technique. We teach a style of meditation called "Be Still and Know," which has helped people of all ages to develop better emotional and physical reactions to stress.
The Foundation of Human Understanding is located in Grants Pass, Oregon. The address is P.O. Box 1000, Grants Pass, Oregon 97528. You can contact the center at (800) 877-3227 or by calling (541) 956-6700. The facility offers a variety of different instructional tools for people who are just learning to meditate, and for those of you looking to take your meditation practice to the next level. If you're tired of looking outside of yourself to deal with stress, we can help change your way of thinking.
The founder, Roy Masters, has dedicated his life to helping people get over the scars left behind from traumatic events and stress. Over time, many of us have come to rely on a certain level of stress to get through the day. We actually come to believe we need stress in order to stay on top of our game, and to keep our lives in order.
You can have a great life that's free from stress if you're willing to put in as little as 20 minutes of mindful meditation a day. People who practice meditation tend to have greater levels of mental clarity. Over time, you begin to see things as they are, and you realize your own inner strength. You may find yourself becoming more accepting of others and yourself in the process.
