Double-click Internet Options to open Internet Properties. Click the Security tab. Highlight Internet and click Custom Level. Verify that Active Scripting, Allow paste operations via script, and Scripting of Java applets are either set to Enable or Prompt in the Scripting section. Click OK. America Online Versions 5 through 7 Click Start, select Settings and Control Panel. Double-click Internet Options to open Internet Properties. Click the Security tab. Highlight Internet and click Custom Level. Scroll down to Scripting of Java Applets and select Enable. Click OK.
