What she thinks of you has been more important to you than standing up for what is right, and the little good you have left in you, you are willing to sacrifice for that brownie button of her approval. Like the first man, Adam, you don't correct your wife because your ego needs the hell in her . To serve you. To reinforce your pride and ambition. To make you feel like a man when you are not.
     Your misguided mother had little tolerance for your dad's natural authority. With the power he gave up to her, her impatient, hungry spirit saw to it that male children knuckled under, thus implanting in them a nature that could survive only in relationships with dominating females. Now you, a corrupted, womanizing man, have little concern for what is right. You enjoy being violated-and violating, with seduction and violence. Gladly and pridefully you sacrifice true worth for feelings of worth that women give you. You carefully cultivate and pre­serve a sick relationship by never "offending" the lady, while in fact doing her mortal harm with your loveless giving in and walking around on eggshells. (Politically speaking, liberals are like this. They are like guileful women, seeking power by cultivating the worst in society for the sake of gaining power.)
     You can give a woman the true love she needs only by giving up the ego feelings of worth that you crave from her reassurances. She may have become afraid to reassure you by serving your wants, because of what this does to you both.
