                                                                           Barriers to Understanding

     Man prides himself in knowledge, but is humbled by Revelation. Do not, therefore, be ambitious for knowledge. Be patient for understanding to come. And when you read, scan words for an awakening morsel. Words are not meant to be learned and committed to memory but to awaken you to their essence. Thus, you will know what words say without having to remember them. And here, in the Light of Understanding, comes faith and the Word made flesh.
     Do you see that the Word made flesh, referred to in the Bible, cannot possibly mean the written or spoken word? Man's words are merely a reflection, or at best, a mere imitation, of the Word in our hearts. The voice dramatizes the spirit of the Word and is, in a sense, secondhand. So don't doubt. Listen to the Word in your own heart, and sin no more. For it is written that everything that is not of faith is sin.
