Secret Power of Words Words of Knowledge: I say, "Roy Masters is a parrot of the Existentialist teachings." ROY: Yes. Their brand of hypocrisy has bred a revolution against words as well as religion. MAN: Because of my background, I can really look at your approach, having a background in Zen and Far Eastern philosophies as well, and when I look at you, I would say, " Roy needs to be an individualist. His background is a parrot of Zen, Krishnamurti, Existentialism." ROY: But how can I be from any of these without being caught up in another? From whence shall my understanding come? From you? Shall I take your words, or should I see it for myself? But hear me again. I never studied these philosophies, so how can that be? MAN: You need to be free from that matrix. I would say you are bound in an anti-rational, anti-linguistic, antiJewish /Christian type of attitude. ROY: Hold it right there. I would say you are bound into words, so you cannot see where I am coming from. You keep assuming that I am against language, when I am neither for nor against it, to avoid seeing the truth of what I am saying about you. There are similarities and some good in all religions. In Zen, there are similarities to Judaism and Christianity.
