The perverted soul desperately clings to perverted meaning as though it were life itself And indeed it is to the treacherous preacher or politician whose fat-cat existence depends on it.
     A living example of true meaning in action is the most devastating experience our phony adversary can know, for his pride thrives on a clever combination of lies and truth. The "pious" can even enjoy the oppression of others of their own kind, for hating wrong is their means of evolving their own brand of right. Both the wicked hypocrite and the cruel atheist are devastated in the presence of centered beings who speak clear meaning, who hold fast to Truth and do not get drawn into an argument of empty words or ungodly emotions.
     The enemy is desperate; he must unnerve you to make you doubt, because it is from your failing that he derives all his energy and satisfaction, and evolves his private hell-yours, too, if you allow it.
     But you must not depend in any way on the belief system of others. No external pressure should cause you to feel any undue urgency or affect your own manner of expression in discussing Truth as you know it to be. If your disputant is meant to come around to your point of view and believe as you do, conscience dictates that it must be out of free choice, in recognition of the Truth in what you are saying, and not out of some emotional compulsion.
