Secret Power of Words Words of Knowledge:
Barriers to Understanding
though similar, can be opposed to the spirit of understanding in that they lead away from Truth to death rather than to life. To take hold of original knowing again, you must first realize how you have been tricked into the futility of striving for, and compensating with, knowledge. You must, of course, confess your private sins, but the basic sin, from which all others have sprouted, is doubting the truth that you came into the world knowing without words. Out of that doubting your pride was born.
When did doubt and pride first enter your life? Can you reflect on it a moment and remember who was responsible? And why would anyone wish to lay such a curse on you? What possible benefit could it be to them? The answer is that the evil in people, which most of us are not even aware of, derives tremendous satisfaction from tricking, seducing, and violating your inner relationship with your higher Self.
Behold your politicians. Have you ever heard them speak anything meaningful? Can any reasonable person digest their rhetorical drivel? Of course not1 Their wicked art consists of expressing their confusion with such confidence, force, and personal magnetism that you wind up thinking you are the crazy one for not being able to understand. God help you if you do "understand."
There are forces operating in people all around you that thrive on the exploitation and disintegration of your original faith. They exploit the confusion you have about what is right and wrong, but common sense is the faith, the original knowing that the forces of doubt have separated you from. Through emotional pressure, you must suffer, to long to come back to that trust again.
